The Osun state police command has arrested two ritualists, from the arrest, some female body parts were found with them. The Osun state police spokesman said: at about 9:30pm.. a distress call was made by A hotel management where they had lodged. The management said a girl screamed twice and after that, no noise was heard again from the room. According to them the scream was like a girl calling for help. According to the management when the guys were about going, they were asked to be escorted back to the room to see if everything was fine and why the girl they came with wasn't leaving with them. NEWS   OPC to raid Oyo forests, goes after killer herdsmen Published   December 15, 2020 ‌ Olufemi Olaniyi, Ibadan THE Coordinator of the Oodua People’s Congress in Oyo State, Mr Rotimi Olumo,  said members of the group had been mobilised to start combing bushes, hamlets and villages in the Ibarapa area of Oyo State to expose herdsmen killing and kidnapping in the area. Olumo said this following the killing of a former House of Representative candidate, Dr Fatai Aborode, who was shot and hacked to death by herdsmen on his way back from his farm on Friday evening. He said apart from Aborode’s killing, farmers in Igangan had come under the frequent attacks from criminal herdsmen. Olumo, who spoke in an interview with our correspondent in Ibadan on Monday, said the destruction of lives and properties being perpetrated by some herdsmen in Oyo State had become worrisome and embarrassing. ‌ BUSINESS No break until we pass 2021 budget, say Reps Published   December 15, 2020 ‌ Leke Baiyewu, Abuja The House of Representatives has said the National Assembly will have to wait to pass the 2021 Appropriation Bill before embarking on end-of-the-year break. Vice-Chairman of the House Committee on Appropriations, Mr Iduma Igariwey, who spoke to our correspondent on Monday, stated that lawmakers were committed to maintaining the January-December budget cycle, to which they returned the country this year. Igariwey noted that the date for embarking on recess would be determined by readiness of the budget. It was reliably learnt that the National Assembly plans to go on break on Thursday, barring last-minute change of plans. The Senate and House Committees on Appropriations were expected to turn in their report on the budget last Thursday. Some standing committees which delayed submission of their reports were said to have delayed the process. Igariwey said the remaining sub-committe
