In the last 72 hours, the wind of insecurity in Kaduna State has been blowing with great force. In the early hours of Thursday and Friday, over forty persons were reportedly killed by bandits across the State while two other persons were said to be kidnapped according to the Internal Security Commissioner of the State, Samuel Aruwan. Consequently, President Muhammadu Buhari issued a statement through his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu to sympathize with both the people of Kaduna and Zamfara States over the loss of their loved ones after the unfortunate onslaughts. He also charged members of the Nigerian Military by re- echoing his controversial civil- war rhetorics saying that they should treat the bandits in the language they understand.
