FORMER President Olusegun Obasanjo has thrown his weight behind the call for state police, saying the country is ripe for such a change. Breaking: JAMB Opens Portal For 2020/2021 Admissions   Bade Adedeji  9 hours ago The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has opened its portal for tertiary institutions to upload names of shortlisted applicants for the 2020/2021 admission. The board said that all admission processes must go through the Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) for approval. It is widely known that only qualified candidates as recommended by their institutions for admission will be approved by the board. The spokesperson for JAMB, Fabian Benjamin, confirmed this in a telephone interview on Wednesday. Also, the Registrar of JAMB, Prof Is-haq Oloyede, confirmed this in an interview with newsmen in Abuja. Asked if the CAPS has been opened for the conduct of this year’s admission, the registrar said: “Of course, long ago.
