The Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Social Media, Lauretta Onochie, has adduced reason for the refusal of the president to attend the Saturday's burial of late Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Ibrahim Attahiru, and other military officers who died in a plane crash in Kaduna on Friday. Attahiru: NAF jet crashed due to bad weather, DHQ reveals- Punchng

The Defence Headquarters on Friday said bad weather was responsible for the crash of a Nigerian Air Force Beachcraft 350 aircraft at the Kaduna International Airport. The crash claimed all 11 souls onboard including newly appointed Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Ibrahim Attahiru.
