ORIENTATION DAY: ALAWODE INSPIRE FRESHER'S ON THEIR ACADEMICS.

The Hod of mass communication federal polytechnic offa Mr Wole Alawode, has instruct the newly accepted mass communication students to take their academics seriously.

Mr Alawode communicated with the fresher's while giving his speech at the orientation day  held at 1000capacity theatre hall in the school.

The HOD  made it known to the fresh students that they very lucky and oppurtuned to be in the field of mass communication as this put them at an edge at the labour market after graduating where they can practice at diverse field of communication unlike other department.

While commenting on the the appearance of the students Mr. Alawode made it known that the freshers look beautiful in their departmental uniform and their have been comments from extenal bodies too.

"One of the staff from other department saw me and called me HOD awon omo to beautiful" He said.

While in his existing protocol, he advise the entire Mass Communication students in Federal Polytechnic Offa to endeavor come out with distinction in the first and second year, as the department and the management is ready to support such students in with textbooks, tokens and also to help them with jobs in the labour market.

Alawode said "I want everyone of you to take your academics deligently as far as you can, because let me tell you we want to bring back some of our students that graduated in this department with good grades, so start your planing now! Know that the word is for you , stop doing unnecessary activities that can ruin your grades and carrier inside the campus and face your studies.

In conclusion, Mr Wole Alawode motivate the students in developing and starting a real life skills by paying attention to entrepreneurship in other to succeed after graduation.
Nevertheless, "don't forget, we want you to utilise everything we are impacting on you not for today only but to be able to keep the flag of the department of mass communication, federal polytechnic offa at large flying outside the institution.
