This significant development comes after a thorough search conducted at Emefiele’s Lagos residence, lasting for an entire day.
Sources indicate that the search, carried out on Friday afternoon, resulted in the recovery of a substantial amount of currency and important documents. The operation follows Emefiele’s arrest by the DSS on June 10, and he has since remained in the agency’s custody for the past eight days.
